It saddens us to report that Dave Teter passed away on Saturday, July 12 at Christiana Hospital. He had been ill for several months and was admitted to the hospital on Friday. Dave was 77 years old. Services will be held in Bridgeport, WV.
Dave had been BMC’s Rally Chair for several years, and put on 17 of his annual March Lamb rallys for BMC and the South Jersey Region SCCA. His last March Lamb was this past April. A top-level rallyist, Dave earned 1,422 lifetime SCCA rally points, which is the second highest total of 403 people who have earned 25 or more lifetime rally points. He was in the highest category of SCCA rallyists – Great Great Grand Master.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday morning, July 19, 2014, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where visitation will be held from 10 am until 11 am. A Masonic ceremony and committal service will be held at 11 am on Saturday morning, July 26, 2014 at the family gravesite in the Bridgeport Cemetery, Bridgeport, WV In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the WVU Foundation, P.O. Box 1650, Morgantown, WV 26507-1650 to help provide charitable support to university functions.
