I am the Archivist / Historian for the Eastern Counties Motor Club which was formed in 1950. This covers the part of England known as East Anglia and at the time the area had many U.S.A.F. Airbases. One of our club members was Dan Hastings who was stationed at R.A.F Bentwaters , Dan used to rally a Morgan. I now understand that this gentleman upon his return home rallied the same car as a member the Brandywine Motor Club in 1954.
I appreciate it was a long time ago but would any of your current members remember Dan or even be able to put me in touch with his surviving family or better still; is Dan still with us.
If you have an Email list, please put me on it. I’m an old-time rallyist and would like to keep it touch . . . even though I haven’t been on a rally since before the Civil War!
